By accessing or using Stack Photos ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Stack Photos is a mobile application and cloud service that allows users to capture photos of the same location over time and create timelapses. The Service includes photo capture, cloud sync, AI-powered image alignment, and timelapse generation.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
One person may not maintain more than one account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of photos you upload ("User Content")
You grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service
You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to upload content
You may not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Upload malicious content or attempt to harm the Service
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Use automated means to access the Service without permission

6. Public Stacks

When you make a stack public:

It may be visible to other users on the Discover map
Other users may view your photos and location data
You can make it private again at any time

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The offline-first design ensures you can always capture and view your local photos.

8. Intellectual Property

The Stack Photos app, branding, and underlying technology are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
